This Cookie Policy explains the browser storage and similar technologies used on Resaco’s website. Non-essential analytics and advertising technologies are used only after your consent.
1. What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. Similar technologies include local storage, tags, pixels and identifiers that allow a website or service provider to recognise a browser, remember a choice, secure a session, measure use or attribute advertising.
Server logs are not cookies. Our hosting environment may create technical logs needed to deliver and protect the website. These are handled as described in our Privacy Notice.
2. Categories we use
- Strictly necessary: required for core website functions, security, load balancing, form protection and remembering your privacy choices. These cannot be switched off through the consent tool where they are essential to provide the service you requested.
- Preferences: remember optional choices that improve the experience. These are used only where the law requires consent and consent has been given.
- Analytics: help us understand how visitors use the website, which pages perform and where technical problems occur. These are off by default and require consent.
- Advertising: measure campaigns, limit or personalise advertising and build audiences on advertising platforms. These are off by default and require consent.
3. Planned and available providers
The exact technologies active on the production website depend on the tag and consent configuration. Resaco uses or plans to use the following services:
Google Tag Manager
Google Tag Manager manages website tags. The container itself is a delivery mechanism. It must not activate Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn or any other non-essential tag unless your consent state permits it.
Google Analytics
Google Analytics may collect information about page views, sessions, device and browser characteristics, approximate location, referral source and interactions. We use it to understand and improve website performance. It is activated only with analytics consent.
Google Ads
Google Ads tags may measure whether advertising leads to visits or form actions and may support remarketing. They are activated only with advertising consent.
Meta Pixel
Meta Pixel may measure actions following Facebook or Instagram advertising and support campaign audiences. It is activated only with advertising consent.
LinkedIn Insight Tag
LinkedIn Insight Tag may be added to measure LinkedIn campaigns and understand the professional audiences visiting the site. It will be activated only with advertising consent. If it is not enabled, it does not collect data through this website.
YouTube and Vimeo
Videos may be loaded from YouTube or Vimeo after you choose to play or load the external media. The provider may then receive your IP address, device information, page URL and identifiers and may set its own storage according to its service and your provider account state.
4. Legal basis
We use strictly necessary storage to provide the service or function you request and to secure the website. We use optional preferences, analytics and advertising technologies only on the basis of your consent. You can withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal.
5. Your cookie choices
The consent banner must offer a clear choice to accept or reject non-essential technologies. You can also choose categories separately. Rejecting optional technologies does not prevent you from using the core website.
When the consent manager is active, you can reopen Cookie settings from the persistent link in the website footer and change your choice. Clearing browser storage may cause the banner to ask again.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary storage may cause forms or other requested functions to stop working.
6. Exact cookies and retention
Cookie names and durations can change when providers or configurations change. The live Cookie settings panel lists each active technology, its provider, purpose, category and expiry. That declaration is generated from the final production configuration and forms part of this policy.
Resaco configures analytics and advertising retention to the shortest practical period for the stated purpose. Consent records may be kept for as long as necessary to demonstrate and respect your choice.
7. Data sharing and international transfers
When you consent to a provider’s technology, information may be shared with that provider and its contracted processors. Google, Meta, LinkedIn, YouTube and Vimeo may process data outside Finland, the EU or the EEA, including in the United States. Applicable safeguards may include an adequacy decision, the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
